Synopsis
"Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day" (Ano Hana) is an original TV anime produced by A-1 Pictures, broadcast in 2011. Set in Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture, the story begins when Menma, a girl who died in an accident as a child, appears as a ghost before her now-grown childhood friend. Once a close-knit group of six children, the friends had drifted apart, each carrying their own regrets and unspoken feelings. Menma's lingering wish brings them together again. It is a tender coming-of-age drama exploring loss, healing, and the bittersweetness of adolescence.
Why visit the real-life locations
