Synopsis
"Love Live!" is a TV anime produced by Sunrise, whose first season aired in 2013. Overcoming clashes and inner conflicts as they grow together, it is a vibrant coming-of-age idol anime brought to life by its memorable songs.
Why visit the real-life locations
The sacred sites of μ's stretch across the Akihabara, Kanda, and Yushima areas of Chiyoda, Tokyo. Kanda Myojin Shrine is the most famous landmark, where the members pray and where fans come for ema plaques and goods. Don't miss the long-established sweets shop Takemura, the area around Yushima Tenjin said to inspire Otonokizaka Academy, Akihabara UDX with its station plaza, and the striking red Manseibashi Bridge and the UTX front (former Manseibashi Station site). Yushima Seido, Nikolai Cathedral, Shohei Bridge, Ochanomizu Station, and Ueno Park complete the tour of the show's Tokyo cityscape.
