Set at an art university in Tokyo, it delicately portrays the youth and tangled romances of students studying art, centered on the old apartment building where they live. Why visit the real-life locations

The art university in Honey and Clover is famously modeled on the Takanodai Campus of Musashino Art University in the Kodaira area of Tokyo. Its leafy grounds capture the very mood of the series. The walk from the nearest Takanodai Station to the campus makes a fitting pilgrimage route that lets you relive the students' daily lives. Venture a little farther to Inokashira Park, with its woodlands and waterside paths, for a relaxed stroll. Wandering the Kodaira area along Ome-kaido lets you fully savor the quiet atmosphere of the town where the characters lived.
