Synopsis

"Psycho-Pass" is a science-fiction crime-suspense anime broadcast in 2012, with story and concept by Gen Urobuchi and production by Production I.G. It is set in a near-future Japan. The series depicts a controlled society in which people's mental states and personality tendencies are all quantified and made visible, and even the likelihood of committing a crime is measured as a "Crime Coefficient." Inspector Akane Tsunemori, together with "Enforcers" branded as latent criminals, takes up a special weapon called the Dominator to confront cases. It is a weighty story that sharply questions what justice is and what it means for humans to judge one another.
