Synopsis

"Genesis of Aquarion" is a TV anime produced by Satelight, broadcast in 2005. Set in a fictional near-future world, it portrays humanity's struggle against the Shadow Angels, winged beings who descend from the heavens to prey on people. Humanity's trump card is Aquarion, a giant combining mecha formed when three Vector Machines unite, piloted by youths who move it by resonating their emotions. The souls of warriors who once saved the world are reincarnated, reunited across ten thousand years. This grand-scale SF mecha anime weaves themes of love, destiny, and reincarnation.
