Why visit the real-life locations
The mood of this Kanto-set battle of wits comes alive when paired with real architecture and landscapes. The Oya History Museum in Tochigi, a vast underground former quarry, is an otherworldly space whose solemn atmosphere suits tense negotiations perfectly. The Former Marquis Maeda Residence Western Building in Tokyo lends an air of refined, upper-class tension with its stately design. The Shonan Village Center in Kanagawa, an open hilltop facility, makes a fine finale for touring the story's world.
